Once you feel prepared, you can ask to schedule a structured intereview with Revolware team. Use the interview to get as many answers to your questions as possible.
After the intereview, you can get the option to join Revolware's "Testing Season" Discord server. The server contains a skills training part and a set of (open-source) testing tasks, up to your selection.
After you finish a testing task, you can either ask join Revolware directly, or continue working on another testing task.
Our journey began with the Quake resQ project, founded by Martin Hrabovec and his high school friends. Their vision was to develop an effective earthquake warning system and make it accessible to communities that coul not afford costly monitoring equipment. Quake resQ provides a comprehensive solution: the Qbox - compact device that detects earthquakes before they strike, and a mobile app that delivers crucial information before and during the event.
The app alerts you when an earthquake is approaching, its intensity, and provides lifesaving instructions, such as taking cover during minor tremors or evacuating during stronger quakes. It can also automatically shut off gas and electricity in at-risk buildings.
Building on our success with Quake resQ, we established Revolware in 2015, a company focused on creating cutting-edge software innovations. Since then, we have steadily grown, delivering technologies that push the boundaries of the digital landscape.
Our first projects garnered public attention and attracted new clients, including the German-Slovak Dictionary and the Bratislava Public Transport app. The German-Slovak Dictionary became the most downloaded dictionary on Windows Phone platform, helping thousands of users bridge language barriers. In Bratislava, we identified a gap in the market for a public transport app that provided vital transport information without requiring an internet connection, allowing commuters to check bus and tram schedules at a glance.
Beyond these projects, we have ventured into building modern websites and educational games. Our educational initiatives, such as Inventition, Land of Bees, and Hope, combine entertainment with learning. We're also exploring trends in virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR) and integrating innovative solutions in the cryptocurrency space. This expansion enriches our technological portfolio, offering holistic digital solutions.
